About Elite Angler Rigs
Built on the Water. Tied by Hand.
Elite Angler Rigs was born from a simple conviction: serious saltwater fishing demands serious tackle. Not mass-produced. Not cut corners. Rigs tied by hand, with the right components, the right way — every single time.
Our Story
We grew up fishing the East Coast — the inlets, the shoals, the surf lines that define places like Cape Hatteras. We learned early that the difference between a citation fish and an empty cooler often comes down to the rig in the water. A weak crimp, a cheap hook, a leader that can't handle the fight — those aren't just frustrations, they're fish lost.
That's why we started tying our own. What began as a personal obsession — dialing in the perfect bottom rig for Hatteras drum, flounder, and stripers — became Elite Angler Rigs. We built this brand for anglers who think the same way we do: that the gear matters, and that premium tackle is an investment, not an expense.
The Hatteras Standard
Cape Hatteras is one of the most demanding saltwater fisheries on the East Coast. Strong currents, heavy surf, and fish that fight hard — it's a proving ground. Our rigs are designed and tested in those conditions. If it holds up at Hatteras, it'll hold up anywhere.
Our stinger rigs, bottom rigs, and specialty setups are built around the techniques and presentations that East Coast anglers have trusted for generations — refined with modern components and consistent hand-tied construction.
Hand-Tied. Every One.
Every rig that leaves our bench is tied by hand. We use premium hooks, quality-tested monofilament and fluorocarbon leaders, and hardware that won't fail when a 40-pound red drum decides to run. No shortcuts. No assembly lines.
We inspect every rig before it ships. Knot integrity, hook sharpness, leader length — it all gets checked. Because when you're standing in the surf at first light, the last thing you should be thinking about is whether your rig is going to hold.
For Anglers Who Know the Difference
Our customers are surf fishermen, pier anglers, and inshore hunters who've been around long enough to know what quality feels like. They've lost fish on cheap rigs. They've retied in the dark. They know the difference between tackle that's built to catch fish and tackle that's built to sell.
We built Elite Angler Rigs for them — and for every angler who's ready to fish with confidence.
Proven on the Water
Our rigs have been tested in real conditions by real anglers — including citation-class catches like a 45-inch red drum pulled from East Coast surf. That's not marketing. That's what happens when the right rig meets the right fish.
