45" Citation Red Drum - Proof Our 1" Drum Rig Works
This is what our rigs are built for.
Mid-October, around 8pm on the East Coast - prime time for big reds. I was running our Hand-Tied Red Drum Rig with the short 1" snell and 10/0 circle hook, and this beauty didn't stand a chance.
The catch: 45" citation red drum - the kind of fish that proves why we hand-tie every rig to exact specifications.
The setup: Our 1" snell keeps the bait tight and natural in the current, and that 10/0 circle hook sets itself perfectly in the corner of the mouth. Clean hookup, solid hold, fish landed.
When you're targeting trophy drum, you need tackle you can trust. Every rig we sell is one I'd use myself - because I do.
